New Years Eve

It's New Years eve already here in New Zealand. Can you believe it, 2013 almost over all ready. Before I do another card challenge post I have to mention a quick challenge on The Ribbon Girl Challenge Blog. It's the Button Give Away just guess how many buttons are in the dish and leave a comment and a mention on your blog about their challenge to be in to win. I never guess correctly but it's worth a go lols.

Quick Christmas

Kia Ora,

It may be sunny here in New Zealand but I have succumbed to "man flu" the gift that keeps on giving, with thanks to my Scrubby who passed this on to me.

With that in mind this is my last Christmas card as I'm now feeling just a weeny bit on the rough side. It's a quickie card because I had everything cut out and ready a little while ago so I only had to assemble this one to post it lols.

So, here goes, I'd like to enter the following card into the Totally Gorjuss Challenge 125 Quick Christmas

Quickly then… I used LOTV stamp and sentiment copic colored and paper pieced the little gal used spellbinders dies some ribbon and bling I got from ribbon girls and the DP is from Rosies Boutique. 

Got to go now and get ready for work to spread around the gift that keeps on giving, cough cough sniff sniff, hopefully if I'm really good with the hand sanitizers and tissues I won't spread it around too much or even better I get sent home for some R&R.

Make a Splash

And for my second card of the day I'd like to enter this into TGF's FFF Make a Splash black and white with a splash of color and this is what I came up with…

I used a white background this time with the new camera set up and I'm thinking now that I should have used the black background, oh well… I'll see how the next one shapes up !

I'd like to enter this card into TGFs Farm Fresh Friday Challenge  All that sparkles …

It doesn't show very well on the photo's but I am sparkling honestly

The image is from TGF Keep Cozy stamp set and the sentiment and candy canes are form TGF Merry Tags set and the DP is Peppermint Express from American Crafts. That's a spellbinders die. and some red card stock of unknown and mysterious origins ;) The snowman and candy cane have been colored using my trusty copic pens (spell check really dislikes the word copic, I don't know why, I use it often enough lols).
